What the heck are crooked brooms, and why should I want one?

People often ask me, “Why broom handles?”  For me, the answer is obvious…. Why not? Why shouldn’t the functional objects in our lives also be beautiful? And if they can add a touch of whimsy to our everyday chores, more the better!

Each broom I make is hand carved and hand painted, and each is unique in its own special way. They come with a standard corn bristle head, but each handle also has standard 3/4" threads, so if the bristles ever wear out you can simply unscrew the handle and attach it to any other broom head.
